What Is Singing Aloud?

Singing is fun and it’s good for you... So come and join in the uplifting the magic of singing in this friendly, fun and welcoming Community Choir.

A warm welcome awaits you at ‘SINGING ALOUD’

If you’ve sung before or have been thinking about joining a choir, perhaps inspired by Singing at Work, Gareth Malone or the Military Wives but have done everything you can to talk yourself out of it with things like…

“I probably wouldn’t be good enough!”

– If you can reasonably manage to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ for example – you’re in! And you don’t need to be able to read music as all songs are taught by ear.

“What if I feel awkward and it’s not my cup of tea?”

– No problem, come along for a session with no obligation to sign up for the term.

So, feel enthusiastic, invited and very welcome to Baldock, Biggleswade, Hitchin and Royston.

We sing a magical mix of a capella harmonies for female voices from a wide range of styles including pop, traditional, gospel and world songs plus anything else that takes our fancy (have a listen to some of our songs…to be added soon!)

Come for a ‘no obligation’ session for £7. If you then choose to join, the cost is £7 per session (including refreshments) paid termly (usually 12 weeks per term). This can be paid weekly, monthly etc.

Phone or e-mail Ruth (Contact Us here) if you have any questions before you come or if you prefer, just turn up on the night, just check our term dates by clicking on a location.

It’s fun, it’s friendly, it’s easy! New singers are always welcome. We look forward to seeing you at Singing Aloud soon!
